Job Description
|
· Maintain a strategic understanding of the existing infrastructure and its relationship to the business.
· Roll-Out of Extranet Connectivity Solution in the region
· Proactively plan and manage the implementation of extranet services and extranet network for Ford entities globally.
· Project Management of complex extranet technology design and equipment Proof of Concept implementations.
· Coordinate network upgrade, implementation, and test plans. · Ensure compliance with international regulatory Public Internet guidelines.
· Consult with client organizations to understand their business, technical, and financial needs.
· Perform level 3 technical support and escalation for telecommunications issues. Assist clients and peers with planning for extranet services and equipment.
· Build teamwork with personnel of diverse cultures and languages across multiple time zones.
· Creating and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers of telecommunications services to increase knowledge about new network services and equipment.
· Evaluate vendor capabilities.
· Provide technical and management support to peers. Extranet Planner & Technical Support - Asia Pacific & Africa Based out of Singapore or Shanghai
· International travel experience is preferred
· Meetings outside of normal business hours will be necessary to accommodate global client schedules.
· Requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously each with critical deadlines
