Superior Technology Organiaztion is looking for engineers who are customer/client oriented
Job Purpose:
Senior System Engineer for a leading provider of IPCC solutions. A Senior System Engineer for IPT will be responsible for planning designing and implementing sound IP Telephony solutions with a focus on IPCC Express/Enterprise to 's diverse customer base.
Job Responsibilities:
Be a subject matter expert on extensive consulting engagements that establish as a leading provider of IP Contact Center solutions.
Planning and assessing enterprise technology strategy and architecture.
Program/project managing client engagements from presales to delivery
Create detailed SOW documents and Visio designs for customer acceptance.
Work with project manager to draft project completion documentation including configuration and design.
Assess, Design, and Implement enterprise wide IPCC Express/Ent solutions for diverse customer base.
Attend pre sales engagements with sales for discovery sessions.
Stay current with emerging technologies as they mature.
Strong technical presentation skills
Ability to travel required
Job Knowledge/Skills:
Cohesive experience in the strategy, process and methodology for business enablement and transformation through technology.
A wealth of expertise on standards, architectures, technology frameworks, solutions and best practices for multi tiered enterprise IPT solutions including single and multiclustered environments.
Seasoned in strategy and architecture steering, review, enforcement and documentation.
Proven collaboration and consensus-driving with technology teams, business groups and senior executives.
Have solid hands-on and inside out knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony offerings including Call Manager, CME, IPCC, Unity and Unified Messaging.
Configuration of Attendant consoles, groups, dial peers, numbering plans, restrictions, MOH, etc..
Integration with traditional TDM PBX architecture.
Gateway configuration and testing
Customer infrastructure discovery and assessment for IP Telephony readiness.
IPCC scripting a must
Education and Experience:
4 year degree in related field
Current Cisco IP Telephony curriculum certifications.
4+ years of experience including hands on configuration of Cisco's AVVID solutions.
IPCC implementations.
Legacy voice experience - design and deploy of PBX systems preferred.
Recent proven designed and deployed Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, and Cisco Voice Gateways (including SRST) implementations required.
Design and deployment of Cisco IPCC Express a must.
Experience with the planning and execution of a phased PBX to IP Telephony migration, including PBX / IPT integration preferred.
Experience with other Cisco VoIP applications (Personal Assistant, Conference Connection, etc...) preferred
Experience with third party application integration with Cisco Call Manager (call recording, XML applications, and third-party voicemail) preferred.
Pre-sales engineering experience (including development of Bills of Material and scoping service efforts) strongly desired.
