TIBCO - Subject Matter Expert (SME) x1 Budgeted
The TIBCO - Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for the good operation of the Billing amd Billing Mediation applications and undertakes the following activities:
-Performs the daily operational activities according to the Operations procedures and guidelines.
-Assists in system configuration to support on-going business requirements.
-Supports scheduling and execution of operations, as well as monitoring of results for the performance of systems in operation.
-Assists in tracking the upgrades and migration of the TIBCO (Integration Bus) applications
-Stands as the upper escalation point for troubleshooting activities
-Escalates faults to the Support Contractor in the time required and supports their fault isolation and resolution efforts
The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Computer Science and/or Telecommunications or closely related field. The candidate should have at least three (3) years of recent experience on operating, administering and supporting Integration Bus related applications, as well experience in system Integration techniques.
Additionally the candidate should have the following qualifications:
-Excellent knowledge in Unix environment
-Good Knowledge in Enterprise messaging systems
-Good knowledge on Java and J2EE, JMS, XSLD, XML
- Experience with Oracle DB and Application Server
-Strong Telecom and System Integration background in the areas of Fault Management, Service - Management and Network as well Customer Provisioning
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Experience in Functional/Business analysis (requirements analysis)
-Ability to work in a team
-Coaching skills
-Experience in TIBCO, CIC and CRAMER applications will be an asset
