Java Voice Policy Developer
Participate in an exciting Java development opportunity in an emerging technology group at . Build powerful voice features into real-world applications in Public Safety and other verticals.
We are looking for self motivated individuals with outstanding problem-solving skills and solid java development experience in a team setting.
The candidate must have experience in complex Java Web Application development using standard design frameworks. Experience in complex multi-threading implementations is desired. Experience in lower level Java technology, such as JNI is a plus. Exposure to voice media technology, such as SIP and RTP/RTCP will be useful. Understanding of basic networking technologies, including Multicast is a plus.
The ideal candidate will also have exposure to Linux-based development. Tomcat configuration expertise is a strong plus.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in Workflow technology. The candidate should be familiar with standard Open-Source-based Java development tools.
Summary:
Languages: JAVA, also some exposure to C/C++ for JNI

Operating System: Red Hat Linux
Protocols: HTTP, SIP, Multicast
Education
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 3-4 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 4-7+ yrs related experience.
