Job Description
|
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field REQUIRED
At least 5 years of Cisco experience with progressive responsibilities in a large multi-protocol global network environment.
CCNP or CCIE preferred (or equivalent experience)
in depth knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF and BGP, L2/L3 switching, Frame-relay, T1/T3
Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, VPN concentrators
Content switches both BigIP and Cisco CSS/CSM
Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills and able to determine route cause of issues
Ability to evaluate, design and implement networking solutions to meet business requirements.
Working knowledge of Cisco works, WhatsUP, Netcool, Ngenius
Firewalls - Secure Computing Sidewinder G2, CheckPoint and PIX
Must be familiar with all components of a complex network environment that includes Firewalls, LAN, WAN, proxy servers, web servers, content servers, DMZ, ISPs, and remote access methods.
Must be familiar with NT and Unix operating systems, Apache and IIS web servers, and network monitoring tools.
Must be familiar with local and wide area network technologies and architectures.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
Ability to manage multiple assignments at all levels of complexity.
Highly effective problem-solving skills; ability to provide professional and expert advice to assist in formalizing a decision or plan.
